Saison Described

We wanted to quickly share this description of Saisons as told by K. Florian Klemp for All About Beer Magazine.
Drinking saison is like a walk in the woods. At first you notice only the forest, but then you discover the individual trees, and finally the smaller and more discreet inhabitants. Sensory stimulation is everywhere. The subtle notes sit beside the bold notes, each expressing itself.
You may want to read the whole piece, it was very well done - does a great job capturing the essence and history of this intriguing style of beer.

Oh yeah, we brew our saison in TWO days!! Not that we're counting.

  1. Very nice. You guys taking pics/video when you brew? These are your early days, it would be cool to have some stuff to look back at 10 - 20 years from now.

    Cheers!
